My little munchkin...

I went to check on the girls the other night before I went to bed and this is how I found Lillie. I can just imagine her sneaking out of bed to play after Abbie fell asleep, then getting tired, and only making it this close to her bed before falling asleep. She cracks me up. I don't want her to get any older, she is such a funny toddler.

Father's Day Suprise

Yesterday McCall and I gave Brad and Scott a Father's Day Surprise. We took them to the Heber City Airport where we had set up plane rides for them. They flew in this little plane and each got to fly the plane most of the time. It was so much fun to surprise Brad with something fun, he usually always gets secrets out of me. They had a blast and talked about getting a pilots license for the rest of the day.

Here is Brad on the way to the airport. I blindfolded him so he had no idea where we were going. The only problem was that he was a little carsick by the time we got there, but he survivied.

This is Brad and Scott looking so studly in their pilot headsets. They are so funny.

Some scenic views from the plane. So amazing!

Summer Reading

I just finally finished reading "The Poisonwood Bible" by Barbara Kingsolver. Holy Cow this is a big read. Not just in length but it is something that you can't really skim over and it takes some time to get into. I am definitely glad I read it and I got a much bigger understanding of the political history of some parts of Africa, which is really tragic. The thing I liked the most from this book is you get to follow this family's journey as they go to a small African village to be "missionaries" there. It's pretty interesting. If you are looking for something to tackle for the summer, this is a good one.

I love date nights!

Brad and I finally got to go on a date last night, hooray! This was our second one since we moved two months ago. Our ward is seriously hurting in the YW department, so those sneaky girls charge $10-$12 an hour because they are so in demand. That is just insane! We met this fun family across the street from us and we decided to trade nights. They took our girls last night and we took their boys tonight. It was much needed and so fun. We are already planning our next trade-off so we can actually get to the temple.
