I'm back! Did ya miss me?

I was on vacation the first three weeks of June and an now just finally feeing like I am sort of caught up on life after being gone for so long. The first week we went to Newport with Brad's Family and then I spent two weeks in AZ. Here is a recap of our trip.

Going there the first week of June was a little chilly, but still a blast. For me, there's nothing better than the beach. Brad's sister Kristen and her husband live just a couple blocks from the beach in Huntington and we are so jealous. Here are a few pics from the trip... Nana Lisa and Lucy just chillin'. Lucy was so great on the beach. I just brought a little bouncer thing that zipped up for her to hang in. She took the best naps out there in the shade.
Brad and Abbie in the waves. It was so great because Abbie and Lillie weren't scared of the ocean this year so we got to play in the water with them a lot.

Davis, Jenna's little boy, is such a stud. He was crawling through the waves like it was no big deal. He wasn't scared one bit. He just loved getting sandy and wet like all the big kids. Well, almost all the big kids. I took the sweetest picture of Jackson freaking out after the tide came up and got him, but for some reason it got erased on my camera. He is such a sweetheart.
Thanks Lisa for getting everyone together every year for such a great time. You are the best!

Sea World

One of the days in Cali, we all went to Sea World. It was so cute to see all of the kids so excited about the animals. I don't know if you know this, but our family is kind of a big deal...just look at how big our entourage of strollers is.
The sea lions having a meal. They were hilarious. One of them just sat on a rock the whole time and pretty much yelled at us.

Hey there Mr. Walrus

The fam.

The girls loved the playland part to get their wiggles out.
Shamu, of course. Seriously, I think this is a conspiracy. I swear that when I went to Sea World when I was a little kid there was a "Shamu" also. No way is that still the same whale.

Good times in AZ

After spending a fabulous week at the beach, Brad flew back to Utah and I drove to AZ. My parents happended to be in Northern Cali visiting my grandparents and were on their way back, so we caravaned and made with only one little adventure. This picture is my Dad's tire after it blew out on the highway going 75 mph. Little scary, but everything worked out. Thanks to a good samaritan who stopped to help my dad change the tire, we were back on the rode pretty quick.
Father's Day weekend, Brad flew down to join us and we all went camping with my side of the family. Here is Brad eating an ant after he dared one of my nephews that if he did it, so would Brad. Brad was a little shocked when my nephew said, "ok" and popped it right in his mouth.
Some of the girl cousins. My kids LOVE their cousins!
Lillie being a big helper to Uncle Joey
All of us at my parents cabin on Father's Day after the camping. Felt so good to get clean!

This pic is totally out of order, but so cute. Abbie loving the pool at my parents house. We went swimming every single day we were in AZ and loved every minute of it.
Brad's arm after my brother's dog attacked him....long story, and a sweet scar.

Fun at Johnny Rockets at the new San Tan Mall

Being silly with Davis
Abbie lost her second tooth while we were there. She was so excited because the tooth fairy still came at my parents house.
We had so much fun and the two weeks flew by so fast, along with all my good intentions on seeing more people. Sorry if we missed ya, and would love to see you next time. It's so funny because I always think there's going to be so much time to do a ton of stuff, but it just flies by. I had such a great time, but it's so nice to be home and not a single mom anymore.
