Happy Birthday to Sweet Lucy!

At the beginning of Feb my BABY turned 2!

We had a little family party for her with cousins, grandmas and grandpas, aunts and uncles, and some friends. It was so much fun, even though it rained a little. Here are some highlights.

All the kiddos waiting to beat the candy out of the Mickey Mouse Pinata.

Did I mention that Lucy is slightly OBSESSED with Mickey Mouse. She didn't want to hit him, so she kissed him. Awwww...

Enjoying her own special cake

She is also in love with balloons, so we blew up a bunch of these weird shaped balloons. Was a fun idea until they all started blowing away.

I love you my sweet, sweet baby girl!

Fun at Freestone Park

A few weeks ago my sister and I took some of our kids to Freestone Park. We rode the train, fed the duck, played on the toys and had lunch. It's so great to be in sunny beautiful weather for the winter. I have to say that is definitely something I missed about AZ.

I know, I know, Lucy's hair is out of control. Thankfully she is finally starting to allow me to put things in her hair again. YEA! She's starting to understand when we say "keep your bow in, you look so pretty"

Merry Christmas in February!

I'm finally posting about Christmas 2009. We had a lot of fun at Christmas with family and friends. These are just the highlights from Christmas Eve and Day. Every Christmas Eve, Eddie the Elf brings us pajamas. Scott (Brad's brother), McCall and their kids Jackson and Clara were also staying at Brad's mom's for Christmas. It was a full house and this kids LOVED it. Here is the p.j. madness.
Knock at the door....who could it be?

Lucy and Clara were both loving being just in their diapers. They were so cute together.

Eddie always writes the kids a note about what they have been up to that year. They love hearing what he has to say and what messages Santa wants them to know.

Let's just say that Lucy wanted to stay naked. She was SO MAD that we were putting pajamas on her. Of course, the one night that pajamas mattered. Doesn't she know we're creating memories?
Christmas Morning!

Lucy with her new car and shoes. She was only interested in her car if Clara wanted to sit on it. Otherwise, she was obsessed with Lillie's new jeep.

Nana Lisa with Abbie and Lillie

I know that she's not wearing any pants in this picture. Her diaper leaked that night (of course, while she's wearing her new Christmas PJ's). So we had to take them off and I put her in different pajamas halfway through presents, so she had an "outfit change"

Clara and Lucy...the candy monsters. These two can down some serious amounts of candy!
Jackson the superhero

The whole family. We had to take the picture here because our lovely Lucy wouldn't get out of the jeep.
Can't you just hear her saying "Weeeee" in this picture

Over the Rainbow

I was taking Lillie to preschool yesterday and the movie Wizard of Oz was on in the car. We had just picked up Lillie's little friend Laynee and Dorothy was singing "Over the Rainbow".
Laynee turns to Lillie and out of the blue says super sassy, "She is totally lip singing."

Lillie says, "What's lip singing?"

I was laughing so hard. It was such a random thing to hear out of a 5 year olds mouth.
