Watch out! Here comes TROUBLE

Lucy started crawling about a month ago and my life has definitely changed. She is one busy girl, but still such a good natured, easy going baby. Last week she pulled up to standing for the first time. She was so excited she just started squeeling at the top of her lungs, then of couse she fell back down onto her bum and got so mad. It's a whole new world in the Randall household.

Still catching up on October Posts...

Around the time of Abbie and Lillie's birthdays, my brother Joey and his family came into town for a visit. They had quite an eventful drive up here from AZ. They stopped overnight in Vegas and the next morning on their way out of town, their car broke down. Luckily, they weren't in the middle of nowhere, but they had to stay in Vegas for another night while it got fixed. Abbie and Lillie were getting so anxious to see their cousins, but luckily they finally arrived the next afternoon. We had so much fun and Abbie and Lillie loved playing with their cousins. We went to the Mayan, the Dinosaur Museum, the park, Abbie and Lillie's b-day party, and just hung out.
It took Lucy a few hours to decide if she liked my brother, but luckily he passed the Lucy test and she loved every minute that he was around.
Abbie, Lillie and my neice Brie giving us a Hannah Montana Concert. It was pretty awesome, and super loud. These are their "rockstar" outfits (I have no idea why Lillie thinks that a Tinkerbell cosutme is a rockstar outfit, but there are a lot of things Lillie does that leave me wondering)

More rockstar outfits and of course, more Hannah songs

Chicky with Lucy....so cute!

Chicky sent me this pic of Lucy and wrote, "I'm too cool...for this paci"

The big shark at the Dinosaur Museum. I'm not sure that Lucy realized she's about to be eaten!

Chicky and me (no, I'm not prego...just look like it in this pic)

Thanks Joey, Chicky, Ross and Brie for visiting us! It was such a great week and we can't wait for you to come again (maybe summer 2009?)

Baby Laundry Website and Boutique

Baby Laundry's website is finally up and running!
www.babylaundryandmore.com
We are doing free shipping for the holiday's through Dec. 18th....check it out.

Also...
My friend and I are doing our own little boutique in Mesa on
Tueday, Nov. 25th from 12-4pm
with our Baby Laundry stuff. If you want to come by, just email me and I can send you the address.
jaimeasu@hotmail.com

We are doing our Minky Blankets for $34 (regularly $38) or 2 for $60. We'll also have our Minky Burpies, Bracelets, Pacifier Clips, Baby Booties, and a few purses and diaper bags.

Even if you don't want to buy anything, it would be fun to catch up. It's so hard to get together with friends when we come down for short holiday trips. I always have such good intentions, then by the time we have gone to all of the family things, it's time to leave again. I so miss living in AZ...especially now that winter is practically here.

Hooray for the birthday girls!

October is always a busy month for our family. Abbie turned 6 on Oct. 13th and Lillie turned 4 on Oct. 19th. We did a waffle breakfast in bed for both of the girls on their birthday mornings. They loved it.

Like always, they had a combined birthday party. It's so great getting the party done once a year for the both of them. I'm not sure what age Abbie will be when she starts wanting her own party, without Lillie and Lillie's friends. Hopefully it will be a very long time.
We had their party at Kangaroo Zoo. It's an indoor bouncy/slide place. All the kids loved it and Abbie and Lillie had a great time. Abbie had a little bit of a fever, but was a trooper.

The birthday girls! Getting so big...Brad and I can't believe that in just two years Abbie will be getting baptized.

Presents...their favorite part.

All the kiddos listening to the rules at the beginning. Kind of out of order, but they look so cute.

How to install a husband

I found this on my friend's blog and had to steal it...I just thought it was too funny (thanks Diana)

INSTALLING A HUSBAND

Dear Tech Support:

Last year, I upgraded from Boyfriend 5.0 to Husband 1.0 and noticed a distinct slowdown in overall system performance, particularly in the flower and jewelry applications, which operated flawlessly under Boyfriend 5.0.In addition, Husband 1.0 uninstalled many other valuable programs, such as Romance 9.5 and Personal Attention 6.5 and then installed undesirable programs such as NBA 5.0, NFL 3.0 and Golf 4.1.Conversation 8.0 no longer runs, and Housecleaning 2.6 simply crashes the system. I've tried running Nagging 5.3 to fix these problems, but to no avail. What can I do?

Signed,Desperate

DEAR DESPERATE:

First, keep in mind Boyfriend 5.0 is an Entertainment Package, while Husband 1.0 is an operating system. Please enter command: ithoughtyoulovedme.html and try to download Tears 6.2 and don't forget to install the Guilt 3.0 update. If that application works as designed, Husband 1.0 should then automatically run the applications Jewelry 2.0 and Flowers 3.5. But remember, overuse of the above application can cause Husband 1.0 to default to Grumpy Silence 2.5, Happy Hour 7.0 or Beer 6.1. Please note that Beer 6.1 is a very bad program that will download the Snoring Loudly Beta.Whatever you do, DO NOT install Mother-In-Law 1.0 (it runs a virus in the background that will eventually seize control of all your system resources.) Also, do not attempt to reinstall Boyfriend 5.0 program. These are unsupported applications and will crash Husband 1.0. In summary, Husband 1.0 is a great program, but it does have limited memory and cannot learn new applications quickly. You might consider buying additional software to improve memory and performance. We recommend Cooking 3.0 and Hot Lingerie 7.7.

Good Luck,Tech Support

Another one bites the dust...

Abbie lost her third tooth the other night. It had been dangling there for a couple days and she finally let me wiggle it for a little bit, but she was very insistant that she would be the one to pull it out. So after I got it hanging there, she popped it right out. It's so funny to see her with one of her front top teeth missing. It also makes her look older (sad, sad). The other front tooth is loose now, so it's only a matter of time before she is putting "two front teeth" on her Christmas list.

She's got legs, and she knows how to use them...

BABY LEGS that is. Here is Lucy sporting one of her new pairs of Baby Legs. I am now obsessed with these things. They have tons of cute styles for boys and girls. I have seen them around at different boutiques for a couple of years now, but I was Target the other day and noticed they started carrying them for the fabulous price of $11.98 a pair. These are great for Fall days (cold mornings, then take them off for warm afternoons), crawling babies (no more crawling up into their pants or black knees), and for quick diaper changes without taking off a pair of tights (they fit snuggly at the top of the thigh). Try them out. I now consider myself an official Baby Legs fan.

Rub-a-dub-dub...fun in the tub

Lucy, like all my girls, just loves the water. Bath time is her favorite. If she is fussy, all I have to do is put her in the bath and she is a happy camper.

I can't believe how big she is getting. It makes me sad that she has to grow up, she's such a good baby. Anytime Abbie or Lillie walk into the room she freaks out and starts squealing until they pay attention to her. She loves her big sisters.

Preschool First Day...

Lillie was so excited to finally have her first day of school too. She started with a new teacher this year, Miss Suzee. She is so sweet and Lillie already loves her.

Umm, Mom...too much sun!

Much better!
Showing off her new backpack
She called this outfit her "rockstart outfit" because it had stars on the shirt. She is such a little rock star.
Last look back....She went in like a pro.

First Days...

Abbie started kindergarten a couple weeks ago and she is loving it. She loves playing at recess, carrying a backpack, and of course-riding the bus. The first day I totally was the embarassing mom taking a million pictures. Then, all of us moms in our neighborhood jumped in our cars and followed the bus to school to further embarass our children by taking more pics as they got off the bus and then some in their classroom. Abbie was so cute and has become so much more independent just in these couple of weeks. It's definitely bitter sweet.

First day of school outfit...coutesy of Nana Lisa. Abbe went shopping with her when she was in town and fell in love with this outfit right away (her favorite color is blue).

Sisterly Love! Lillie was pretty upset when she learned she would not be able to ride on the bus WITH Abbie...sad day for the little sis.

Baby Laundry

Ok, so my friend Jacque called to tell me to please update my blog, because I think it was starting to bug her. (Thanks for the kick in the rear Jac). So, I decided I needed to explain why I have been such a lazy blogger.
Well, sinceI have a problem of always taking on more than I really have time for (I'm sure nobody else does this), my neighbor and I decided to start a business. We wanted super cute minky blankets (and other fun stuff) for our babies, but we didn't want to pay the store prices. So, we decided to make the stuff ourselves. Our business is called Baby Laundry. As busy as it has been, it's also been so fun. Here is a preview of what we've been working on.

Even MORE exciting than the baby stuff we've been making, is a new addition to the Randall Clan. Here is my new sweet little niece, Clara Rose Randall. She is Scott and McCall's new little bundle of joy. She is so sweet and looks like a female version of her older brother Jackson. We are so excited for a girl cousin to join the family! (and of course, she is wrapped up in one of our blankets)

Here are our Minky Swaddler Blankets. These are so great for wrapping up your little newborn like a little burrito. For some reason, this picture would not rotate for me...so it's sideways. These are $20.

Diaper Bags...Mom Bags...whatever you call them. These are just a few of them and they range from about $38 to $58.

Our first boutique we did was in my basement a couple weekends ago. This is part of our set-up. Luckily my neighbor is so super talented at arranging things so cute.

Hooded Towels $22

Beaded Pacifier Clips $12
Baby Bracelets 0-6 mo and 6-18 mo $6
1-4 yr and 4-8 yr $8

Little newborn take home outfit sets. Ranging from $10 to $15

Embelished Burpies Minky's $6.50 or 3/$18
Ribbon Burpies $4.50 or 3/$12

Embelished Child Size Robes $18

Double Sided All-Minky Blankets $38
(These are just a few of the combos we have)
That's pretty much it. Unfortunately, I haven't had time for much else, but everything is good with us. Lucy is sporting some cute new bottom teeth, Lillie's getting ready to start Preschool again and Abbie is getting excited for Kindergarten. Even though I haven't been updating my own blog, I still am peeking in on everyone else.
